When Wendy Stevens moved to New York City in the 1980s, she began to notice that sheet metal was everywhere: manhole covers, subway cars, telephone booths and more. This started her on a journey that resulted in some of the most incredible handbag designs made in the USA. Her ability to make stainless steel look both tough and tender is a triumph of design.
