Whenever I see an American-made denim jacket I just have to check it out. This latest addition is a trucker style from Flint and Tinder offered by Huckberry.
Disclosure: We’ll get a small commission if you buy through the links in this post: Please do!The origin of the nickname “Trucker” is an unusual story. Supposedly it came from the Japanese, who pictured it being worn and broken in best by American long-haul drivers. Originally made from only raw selvage denim, the jackets would, after miles of wear, take on that great personalized fading that means so much to denim fans. What’s different about this jacket is that it’s made from a 2% stretch fabric that allows for freer movement. It’s cut a little longer than typical denim jackets and has a more modern slim cut. The jacket features two inner pockets and two hand warmer pockets along with a Type 1 chest pocket. The jacket is pre-washed for added softness and features button closures. While some people question the denim-on-denim look, I have always thought it worked really well, especially with the darker denim washes.
